Spud has made it to Las Vegas
on a few occasions. While visiting the Bright Lights city in September
of 1990 and again in 1995, the cards
were kind to Spud. Unfortunately in the 1995 trip, the same couldn't be
said for the security guards in the casino. After making a wad of cash
at the poker table, Spud was shaken down by one of the ruffians who found
some cards stashed inside his hollow body.
Not finding any humour in the act, the heathens roughed Spud up and knocked his teeth out. Fortunately, Spud was prepared as he had brought along a spare pair.
But this kind of experience was nothing in comparison to what he had in store when he visited in 2000!
